Green Powered Technology (GPTech) is very pleased to announce that the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has awarded our firm with a fourth task order under our Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), Other Partnered Approaches, and Access to Finance Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Support Services, The Gambia Threshold Program aims to ameliorate constraints to The Gambia’s economic growth, including unreliable electricity and low availability of finance to the private sector, in part, by supporting an upstream enabling environment for PPPs and downstream transaction support across the PPP project life cycle in the energy sector.

With our partners, Planet Partnerships and Delphos International, GPTech will support MCC with identifying and designing capacity building and institutional strengthening initiatives to enhance the Government of The Gambia’s ability to develop short-term energy investment plans, identify priority supply options, and support institutions to develop priority projects.

GPTech’s President and CEO, Phillip Green, stated, “We are very excited to continue supporting the BPA for PPPs, Other Partnered Approaches, and Access to Finance. Through work with MCC, we have seen how creating an environment for sustainable economic growth is key to realizing broader development goals. We look forward to supporting MCC and The Gambia in their efforts.”
