Andrew Hoddick joins Green Powered Technology (GPTech) as the Director of Finance and Administration and a member of our senior leadership team. He will be responsible for all activities related to the company’s finances, as well as management of administrative, legal, tax, treasury, and accounting activities. He has more than 20 years of financial and operational experience in startups and new initiatives, including serving in similar positions in a number of technology and mission-driven companies. He has raised venture funding, worked through successful company exits and post-acquisition integrations, and has extensive experience in intellectual property issues.

Prior to joining GPTech, Andrew was the Vice President of Finance at Haystax Technology in McLean, Virginia, where he worked as the corporate controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) until its sale to Fishtech Group in 2018. At Haystax Technology, he built the company’s finance and accounting functions and integrated newly acquired companies. Andrew also has experience working as CFO and Vice President of Finance for other technology companies, such as Digital Sandbox, SonoMedica, and GroupServe, and performing analysis on early-stage financing projects for The Calvert Group.

Andrew’s experience is multi-faceted and includes working for the German Marshall Fund of the United States, a non-partisan policy organization chartered to strengthen democracy, human rights, and transatlantic relations. He helped open a new office in Eastern Berlin shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall to promote institution-building and information-exchange programs for professionals in journalism, public service, and the non-profit sector. 

Andrew received a BA in Economics from Williams College (Massachusetts) and an MBA from Yale University.
